Democrats grew to hate the Merrick Garland hire and Biden's hands off approach to him. Garland was slow and lazy and Biden just let him coast for 4 years.

The only thing I can think of is that there is something in there that makes Trump look bad. If it was criminal, they would have released it already, while they controlled the release. There must be something they can hang their hat on that gives the appearance of impropriety.
They want Trump to release it, so they can't be accused of playing politics
Because MAGA is deeply fractured right now and the Democrats see it. The MAGA disillusionment is very real, and if the Democrats play this right, they may be able to keep some angst ridden MAGA's home on election day.
This Epstein shite, compounded with Trump’s new found Slava Ukraini and his corporate, deportation sell outs has MAGA in a bad space right now. Real bad.
MAGA has split into two factions. We're gonna just have to wait and see which faction wins out. Traditional MAGA or the Shiite MAGA's.

No matter what is released, people will always assume the good stuff was left out by a corrupt Trump administration. This is a win-win situation for democrats because many republicans are also demanding to see everything.

You guys watch too many movies. Not everything is a conspiracy and it’s extremely plausible that there’s just really nothing to the Epstein Files.

MAGA has told its base that there is something to it for years now, and now they’re telling that same base to stfu about it. It’s not movies. This has happened in real life. They deserve everything they’re getting.

I’ve never voted for MAGA, and never will, but that isn’t important. What might end up being important is that Trump is panicking a bit, and is behaving as if he has something to hide. It’s not a good look.

They are just being politically opportunistic. They don't really want the files released. They see the political damage this is having on Trump, so they are pretending to care
Probably closer to the truth than any other shite I've heard.
The bottom-line is the Dims under Jotato had no desire to take a deep dive into the Epstein Sex Trafficking Scandal and that should also tell you something.
