Democrats consider masking identity of Whistleblower

quote:I saw this about 20 minutes ago on Mark Levin's show on Fox News. This was Oct 7th, so they may have changed their minds but I feel like I am taking crazy pills this is so ludicrous. The dems are the USSR while they accuse Trump, Jill Stein and Tulsi of what they are guilty of...
“House Democrats eager to protect a whistleblower who raised alarms over President Trump pressuring a foreign leader to investigate a political rival are considering testimony at a remote location and possibly obscuring the individual’s appearance and voice — extraordinary moves to prevent Trump’s congressional allies from revealing the identity,” the Washington Post reports.
“Democratic investigators are concerned that without such rare precautions, Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee could learn and then leak the identity of the whistleblower, who has agreed to answer questions before the intelligence committees in both the House and Senate.”

So let me think through this. We are supposed to remove an elected President based on testimony from an anonymous source? It's about time for some intrepid reporters and sleuths to identify who this person is. They will be found out. Somebody has to be smart enough to figure it out.

Didn't this come out last week?

He is NOT a whistleblower. Not covered by the law and a warrant should be issued for him as a leaker.
Anyone harboring him should be cuffed and stuffed for obstruction. They want a war? Let's give them one.

Many years ago I used to consider this site middle of the road. The first current article is 'walls are closing in on Trump' type of article we have heard for years.

November 3, 2020. This will be when their hand gets slapped like a petulant child. It's a tough pride pill to swallow until then, but satisfaction will be realized at that time.

Even Tic Tok says that. It's true.

Why is it that everything Trump does is leaked to the media in short order, but we still don’t know who the WB is?

wouldnt republicans have to be there to be able to ask questions as well. Or are the dems just going to be the only ones to ask questions.
The Repubs should hire Trey Gawdy as their lawyers to help like them dems have and demand under Nadler's rules that Trey gets time to question.

I live in Texas and supported Ted Cruz. I was not stupid enough to choose Hillary over Trump despite his quirks. So how and the hell am I supposed to then support Elizabeth Warren? I'll hold my nose and vote for the right side.
I do not disagree with the article. He has to be feeling pressure. If he is weakened it is because dims made him weak and it is not good for this country. Fast forward four to eight years and I hope democrat leadership is retired because of infirmity or six feet under. This shite will pass one way or the other.

Democrats love their deceptive tactics dont they? Always scheming behind closed doors, looking for the next big lie to feed their media accomplices.

He's on Trump's payroll now in dealing with this. He accepted the position a week or two ago.

Of course this has been hashed out at length here on the board, and there is still no definitive "once and for all" on the subject, but it appears that until Pelosi orders an official vote on impeachment inquiry, the Dems apparently have the ability to investigate and question witnesses without traditional allowances of the opposing party to participate.

No, Gowdy isn't going to be Trump's lawyer. He would have to wait for Jan. because of some lobbyists clause so it isn't happening.

It’s a fking sham. Even ppl in witness protection have to show up to court and testify.

Let's call it what it is. The dems are protecting a spy within the IC. This person leaked a classified phone call between the US prez and the Ukranian prez.
Trump did nothing wrong on the call. The person who leaked the phone call info should go to prison for leaking classified info and spying on Trump.

Has it even been asserted that this person is still employed with the federal government? If not, and of course the Dem leadership would know this despite what they've tried to claim, then one of the main if not the main WB concerns is moot....threat of being fired.

Translation: the leaker is so obviously partisan that it would be obvious he isn't a whistleblower if people were to learn his identity.
