Thankfully democrats through their petulance (hopefully for the next three weeks?) will do a better job of forcing Trump to keep his promise by default rather than his getting him to remember what he campaigned on and honoring the promise he made to voters.
Some things are just not fricking worth winning silly political points against your opponent and that includes this stupid gamble that doesn't amount to peanuts in the long run.

An immigration deal is not happening. Trump has set up a peachy deal that he knows Democrats won't take. He's playing for the midterms. He's playing the long game, which is the only game possible.
