I saw some of it. If you think his lawyers did a good job, then I question your standards for lawyers.
I saw the part where they played clip that showed every democrat who said the word "fight" over the past 4 years.
They put a lot of time defending that one of many examples of Trump preparing his followers for January 6th.
They should have played this video of Trumps kids the morning of Jan 6th.. In which Jr said "This gathering should send a message to them. This isn't their Republican party anymore. This is Donald Trump's republican party".

I know there is nothing anyone can say to change anyone's mind on this board. For the most part, many of you have the same mindset of the people who stormed the capitol, but I don't understand why more people let what was said go under the radar.
He is saying the Republican party now belongs to a president who lost re-election. That there is one person over the party. One person who says what should and shouldn't happen. In other words, he was saying the Republican party was now a dictatorship.
But it came from Trump which means nothing he says is wrong and you are all okay with that.

I don’t think Trump did anything wrong, but a video just showing the hypocrisy of his accusers is not a defense. From a strictly legal standpoint he’s right, Trumps lawyers were less than impressive. If I am arrested for DUI and go to court my lawyer showing a video of the prosecutor getting in their car after leaving a bar is not going to mean much in my defense.

Total dipshitery in your post. Videos were fun and entertaining, meant to grab the attention of the slack jawed Bolsheviks passing themselves off as US Senators. It also allowed Trump's lawyers to attack the editing and improper presentation contained in their videos. The Constitutional arguments were spot on and the tongue lashing the House Managers received on due process, editing and poor knowledge of case law was masterful. The best was the fact the House Managers couldn't apply the proper parts of the constitution to the case law cited. Butt whooping all day. Hammers thrown resulting in direct hits.

Exactly. The people who are trying him and saying he failed in his office are more culpable than him. They're on record doing what they only say he implied and can't even support that claim.
