I dunno, I imagine it in 4/4 time, with the first "NO" in each measure a quarter note, and the remaining syllables all eighths.

If using 3-3-5, you start with a pickup note on 4and(no), then it's straight 8th nnotes with the syllables. Smooth like butter. it's a straight cadence in 8tb notes.

Whereas with 1-3-5, pickup on 4and(no), then a dotted quarter note (trump) on 1, (no) on the and of 2, followed by quarters.

I could draw it out far better than typing it out but generally speaking, 3-3-5 Flows way better than the 1-3-5.

And that has been the music nerd in me coming out.
