Having generations of people on welfare is not America first.

Wanting illegal immigration to continue so you can hire cheaper labor at your construction company is also not America first.

Nothing about MTG this past month has been America first.

And I stuck up for her for the past couple of years, but she's changed her stances. Not me.

I agree, I am not in favor of welfare and think the general welfare clause abuse should stop immediately. The place where the general welfare is defined are the amendments, of which are applied to everyone equally.

However, there has to be a transition period and you can't just dump dependent people on the street over night.

Trump wanted that.

I don't keep track of her, so I'll need specific examples. What I do know is amount all the 500+ members of congress, there are certain ones that are singled out and it doesn't have anything to do with a few positions like these.

On Israel and that's the real reason she gets attacked.

One of this biggest problems here is that someone will say something popular yet untrue and others will just repeat it. ..

Not half. Not a tenth.

In fiscal year 2022, approximately 1.465 million noncitizens received SNAP benefits. This group includes lawful permanent residents, refugees, asylees, and those granted a stay of deportation. A total of 2.2 million children living with noncitizens also received benefits.

quote:

The 2022 SIPP indicates that 54 percent of households headed by immigrants — naturalized citizens, legal residents, and illegal immigrants — used one or more major welfare program. This compares to 39 percent for U.S.-born households.

The rate is 59 percent for non-citizen households (e.g. green card holders and illegal immigrants).

Compared to households headed by the U.S.-born, immigrant-headed households have especially high use of food programs (36 percent vs. 25 percent for the U.S.-born), Medicaid (37 percent vs. 25 percent for the U.S.-born), and the Earned Income Tax Credit (16 percent vs. 12 percent for the U.S.-born).

Our best estimate is that 59 percent of households headed by illegal immigrants, also called the undocumented, use at least one major program. We have no evidence this is due to fraud. Among legal immigrants we estimate the rate is 52 percent.

Illegal immigrants can receive welfare on behalf of U.S.-born children, and illegal immigrant children can receive school lunch/breakfast and WIC directly. A number of states provide Medicaid to some illegal adults and children, and a few provide SNAP. Several million illegal immigrants also have work authorization (e.g. DACA, TPS, and some asylum applicants) allowing receipt of the EITC.

I think I seen a stat where almost half of the 42 million are illegal immigrants, which seems almost unreal and don’t quote me on it, but I did see something maybe on this board earlier

I’ve seen this stat also but can’t verify if it’s accurate or not. Why on Gods green Earth would you incentivize the world to pour into our country? I usually don’t go down the rabbit hole of ‘puppet masters’ working to disorganize and destroy our country but I don’t know how to see this any other way:

It’s utter lunacy leadership from the Dems and RINOS and no one other than Donald Trump would have the stones to stop it.

MTG sucks. She is pissed Trump didn’t endorse her Senate run.
In the last few months she has opposed tariff’s, lied and said it is the republican’s fault that premium’s will increase, said things are too expensive when CPI is 3% while blue collar workers are having increased wages that exceed inflation. Been one of the main instigators of the Epstein files (those women could all speak out if they wanted unless they took big payoffs to sign an NDA). Just a matter of time before she itches about the bombing of drug boats.

Case has no standing because Congress hasn’t passed a budget in years. They don’t have funds so they can’t make Trump do anything. This is just political theater to try and blame Trump. Trump’s not going to cave on this bs.
