Wait the coast guard should go detain in their waters and that’s fine but we can’t blow them up? I’m sure the smugglers will cooperate well.

They would have their own families offed if it offered them a raise and more power.

They're criminals. Interdict them and arrest them when they hit U.S. waters. Or, in international waters, if that's what the law allows.

Extra-judicial executions of another country's civilians based on some contrived war is wild.

Lets see what information you have. Because the demand is in this country, and most of the drugs are imported by US citizens.

Democrats ALWAYS think more of the criminal than the law abiding. It's a sickness.

If we shouldn’t be striking them we have no business sitting there arresting them and bringing them back to charge them.

According to DHS, DOJ, and Homeland, the main importers of illegal drugs in America are as follows.

1. Sinaloa Cartel
2. Jalisco New Generation Cartel
3. Los Zetas / Northeast Cartel

With the Sinaloa Cartel being responsible for the majority due to their control over the cartel territories.

But data from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and other federal agencies show the vast majority of fentanyl comes through legal ports of entry. And the people bringing it into the country are native born Americans.

Approximately 80% of people prosecuted and convicted of federal drug trafficking offenses were U.S. citizens

The problem lies in production. And I am very hesitant to believe that article, it is EXTREMELY biased and cites an DA from Cali that uses "it doesn't make sense" as justification for the claims and focuses on how "bad" Border Patrol is.

"Mexican drug cartels control virtually all drug smuggling along the border" so who is pushing the drugs across? Article kinda tanked there bud

This is like saying the person who drives the van full of kids to get auctioned off wasn’t a trafficker.

It’s just how he makes money.

On September 15, 2025, President Trump issued a Presidential Determination designating Colombia as a “major illicit drug producing country” that has “failed demonstrably” to meet international counternarcotics obligations for the first time in nearly 30 years. This ends a decades-long streak of US certification for Colombia’s cooperation.

Not just them.

On October 24, 2025, the US Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) imposed sanctions under Executive Order 14059 on President Petro, his wife Veronica Petro, son Nicolás Petro, and Interior Minister Armando Benedetti for alleged involvement in the global illicit drug trade. These freeze US assets and bar transactions with sanctioned individuals.

As someone who has worked with the CG intercepting and boarding these drug vessels I'm sure the CG would agree that just blowing them up is a much batter and safer plan then attempting to stop and board a boat full of methed out drug smugglers who know they have nothing to lose.

"The US needs to view and solve its own fentanyl issue," it said.

And while China remains the main source of the chemicals used to make fentanyl, the DEA has also identified India as an emerging major source for these chemicals.

In a US indictment from January 2025, two chemical companies in India were charged with supplying the chemicals used to make fentanyl to the US and Mexico.

quote:

Data obtained through the Freedom of Information Act confirms that most people arrested smuggling fentanyl into the United States at southern border ports of entry are U.S. citizens. In total, 81.2 percent of all seizures at ports of entry along the southwest border

Chemicals go from India and China to Mexico, where its mfg, given to US citizens to bring across border. And Trump is raging at Canada and Venezuela.

Its utterly retarded how easily yall accept these lies of his.
