Yeah, when an afflicted person (afflictions of various sorts) has their mind set on killing en masse, they're going to accomplish that eventually, one way or another. No access to a gun....all they have to do is google how to achieve maximum carnage. I.e. vehicles as a weapon, and God only knows what else is possible.
I guess it's the afflictions themselves that must be taken head on. It's all a bit easier said than done.

Doesn’t matter, whatever they pass won’t effect them in anyway.
All they know is that they will get rich and safe while they give the people what they “want” despite the consequences to the people. That’s the role of politics.

quote:Give your own money towards mental health to your mental hearts desired level. Please do. The rest of us will also. Just don't go demanding everyone pay a certain amount towards everyone else's coverage. That's merely another redistribution of wealth ponzi scheme.
Fund mental health.
Want more? Feel free to find funding and backing and organize it till you're content with the level. If you're truly committed to a cause get behind it, push it, devote YOURSELF and YOUR resources, that's the real definition of commitment.

Instead of advocating for gun control or buyback programs, why can't a politician advocate for learning how to protect yourself.
Instead of that individual hiding under a table or display, learn to protect yourself, don't become victim, take a gun safety course and regular target practice so when and if this occurs to you you can just pump a few rounds into the a-hole(s) responsible.
That politician might get blasted by a few radicals, but tbh it needs to be said. Drop the victim mentality politics. Tell America you have the right to protect yourself and encourage it.
