I'm as conservative as hell. I favor doing away with all forms of welfare and simply giving every eligible American a modified UBI. It would be cheaper than the system we have now.

I don’t get why republicans don’t offer to eliminate welfare and split the money between everyone. Maybe it’s to small of a number to be worth while. Why not use the government money to buy votes like the democrats do .
