Ok, what if the BBB is rolled back, NPR gets it funding back, the funding cuts to the agencies that support the left is undone.

As I expected, most of those comments seem to be unaware of what is at stake.

There is a reason the Dems are rooting to keep this thing going. There is a reason that POTUS Trump is going on TV and asking them to open the Gov.

Everything I've seen is "nobody cares"... and a few people wondering what the hell the government even does that it can shut down over a week and their absence affects so few people.

People thought that about the supply chain until it hit. Most people live in the now so are not concerned.

Have you looked at the Dem senate bill?

Are you aware of what is at stake?

Here is the what the Dems are asking for, from the horses mouth so to say.

In the world are the Democrats winning this they are the most unpopular party and maybe the history of this country right now. They do have the MSM on their side, so your lib Grandma supports it.

But most of the country has moved on from the MSM and knows that it’s BS. Same with polls.

This board has the pulse of the country the majority of it anyway. That’s been proven out over the last 6-7years.

Sir, you need to read what they are going to get if their version of the CR passes.

I don't quite know what you think is going to happen but I do know that what they will do, is clip a good bit from what Trump has achieved if they are allowed to win.

I've also read that if the government is collecting your taxes, and they are, it isn't truly shut down.

The shutdown won't last forever, most of what gets missed will be backfilled, it's all a damned game and everyone knows it.

Dems are winning the messaging for sure.

Republicans seem very disjointed here.

Haven't national polls proven to be incredibly corrupt?

At this point its obvious right?

We are 10 months in to a 48 month term... this is not an existential crisis and nothing you can say will make me set my hair on fire.

Shutdown showdowns have been a part of how our convoluted government rolls for some time now. We will survive.

Not seeing what you're seeing. In fact, I believe that 3 Ds have crossed to vote with Rs while only 1 R has voted to shut it down.

I believe the "military not getting paid" narrative will swing in Rs favor as they are the party that is seen as more pro-military.

Dems control the MSM. Everything you see from them will support Dems.

Change the channel.

Isn't the military pay scheduled to stop in one week? If so, they probably care.

Read the legislation that the Dems are asking for: LINK

I'm not saying it's the end of the road for Trump, I'm saying the work he has done before a midterm election that may make it very much harder to achieve legislative victories is at stake.

They, too, will be backfilled and there are loans available to them in the meantime.

It isn't ideal, but no one is going hungry.

If I were Grand Empress, I'd stop the congress critters pay and not backfill them. It is insane they still get paid. But, I'm not the Grand Empress.

3rd time you have posted this link. If you're so concerned about it, why not summarize it for us instead of speaking in generalities? Troll

What's your solution? I'm a peasant and can't do shite. You can't either... or else you would be. I'm not getting riled up this fine, cool, beautiful October morning. Life is good.
