This kind of thing, and Apple looking into what to do about Parler, kind of scratches out the "create or use another option".
Anyone that can't see this as a bad thing isn't worth dealing with.
These people are evil for sure. What do would we expect from nerds who never played sports, and at least respect the rules of the game.

correct. Dorsey was getting blasted about stock tanking. Then the rabid hate of Trump brought millions of users. It brought me and since the MSM lied constantly, he went there to get his message out without being twisted. I stayed to keep up as long as Trump was there. Now that they are banning people for no reason other than being conservative, i deleted my profile yesterday. Didn't want the gestapo coming after me.

Yeah I avoid getting apps if I can, and just have multiple browser apps with DDG on as the browser. But what phones can we use if not google/apple related?

I didn't have many followers. I'm anonymous there too. I mainly only fight with leftists.
My favorite person on there was LegallyBAE. She apparently got kicked off. She posts innocuous jokes about dating, and occasionally comments on politics.
My Parler handle is libertybelle (I think). I have a picture of my dog on it sitting on a red oriental rug. You can follow me there if Parler didn't explode or something from failing to follow the Big Tech overlords and committing the crime of letting Trump have a handle on there.
