JMO, but I believe the unmasking was done so that the sitting administration could identify who needed to be monitored,with the intent to surveil them as needed.

She said it was one of the biggest issues if declassified. Wonder if they will go all the way back to 2012, the FISA court said they looked back that far and it was going on, and there were 1000s of Ask Queries. Who ordered, who were they on, and what did they query, this could blow things wide open, particularly when Pelosi/Schumer see they were spied on as well.

Came here to post essentially the same sentiment. I'll believe it when I see the declassified documents. I can only hope this is the first public step to nailing Obama and Hillary. I'll believe it when I see it.
