Flase. They acted under the State of Emergency that DeSantis declared.

No, Trump closed down nothing. As pointed out by a lot of people here, he lacked the constitutional authority to do so.

The result was a wide ranging difference from state to state.

Lou Pai, totally fine with the American people being punked.

What a great Amerikan you are.

Yes, great logic here. Because I think Trump got deceived into following the advice of tunnel-vision, self-important hacks for far too long, that means I'm a bad American. Good stuff.

It's the presentation of your own logic that is misguided & un-American. You chose to ignore all extenuating circumstances in an attempt to boil it down & lay it at the feet of one man, Trump.
You say nothing of Fauci other than the Monday morning quarterbacking call for his firing which, by the way, is not a simple task.

Good stuff.

What?

You guys worship a man who doesn't know you exist.

Trump pressured the country to lock down because he was afraid of the media, according to you guys. That obviously makes him look like a weak, impotent leader.

You're only angry because I'm pointing out the obvious about your religious leader.

Define "punked"

In this case, I'd describe it as Trump being fooled by subordinates, who were part of a cabal that had already made it achingly clear it would do anything/everything-legal/illegal to get him out of the WH.

Not to sound like an a-hole but Trump has never claimed to be a doctor or a scientist.

He was told by professionals what they thought because that’s what they do for a living.

They're not bright. So no.

They just throw shite at the wall hoping something will stick.

I think it's impossible to find Trump acknowledging that he made any mistakes regarding COVID. His worshipers pretend he "learned from his mistakes" but I can't seem to find him admitting that he ever made a mistake.

COVID-24 Trump would be championing lock downs all over again.

Why didn't Noem do that in her state since Trump forced a lock down?

Trump championed lockdowns that ruined his own economy and cost him re-election.

COVID is a huge loser for Trump. Pretending he was an innocent victim is an even bigger loser for him.

Don't play the COVID game.

This is a retarded argument for an only-Trumper to trot out.

DeSantis was under the pressure of the federal gov't, led by the president. That federal gov't had gaslighted TF out of a lot of Florida.

Trump could not stand up to Anthony Fauci and Deberah Birx. He allowed his own administration to lie and distort about the virus, and gaslight TF out of the country.

Why didn't Noem do that in her state since Trump forced a lock down?

To be clear, you know there were lockdowns in SD, right?

No, Governors locked down their own states. Why did he allow his order to stand once he wised up to the farce? You know, the one pointed out in this thread? The one that allowed Miami to arrest people in 2021?

COVID is a huge loser for Trump. Pretending he was an innocent victim is an even bigger loser for him.

PLEASE go with that. Please do.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis issued a stark warning on Tuesday to businesses that defy the state’s coronavirus-related guidelines as confirmed cases have risen throughout recent weeks.

quote:

During a news conference in Orlando, DeSantis threatened to revoke business licenses from bars and restaurants that operate in violation of social distancing guidelines.

June 23rd 2020!

quote:

DeSantis said there would be “no tolerance” for that type of activity and he has told officials to “just suspend the license,” giving Department of Business and Professional Regulation Secretary Halsey Beshears the nickname “the grim reaper” for business licenses.

quote:

On Monday, state officials suspended a liquor license for a pub near the University of Central Florida

Yes.. Let's Friggin play that GAME...

Miami... Go look at who is winning in the GOP there. Tampa... etc.

DeSantis has admitted to his mistakes.

DeSantis Says He Regrets Not Opposing Trump Administration’s Lockdown Calls—As Tensions Grow With Ex-President

Sad that Trump can't or won't do the same.

Trump championed the lockdowns that ruined his economy and re-election. AND he apparently stands by those decisions.

COVID is a huge loser for Trump. People are willing to forgive but you have to ask first. Trump's too proud to do so.

Don't play the COVID game. Big loser for your spiritual leader.
