The worst thing is that the lock-downs didn't do a damn bit of good to retard the pandemic and did a lot of harm at a lot of levels.

The amount of DeSantis worship + the (Trump derangement) exhibited by Lou Pai is far more pathetic than the worship he claims people have for Trump.
It’s deeply imbedded in his conscious and subconscious - it dominates the literature he reads, the news he consumes, the conversations he partakes such that I can deduce to a near certainty it is forefront of his mind when he is awake and likely when he is asleep. It’s sad and I’m worried about him.

He clearly walks around smashing mirrors so that he doesn’t have to face himself and his grief.

Lou is planning his 4th of July around visiting Dunedin, FL, the birth place of Ron DeSantis.
What’s this about worship?

And here we have yet another victim of the Sour Grapes variant from true cultist that wanted so desperately to be a virtuous flockmate of the vaxaddict collective that has finally realized he was punked to the point of not only slurping, but swallowing every drop of protein from Fauci's spike.
Equally amusing is the continuation by you cretinous clowns to label Trump supporters as a cult that will follow/do anything DJT says & then couple that with a "vaccine" reference.

Trump lives in your head 24x7.
YOU are the one being continually punked, and unbelievably, you are still totally unaware.

What an absolute dumb-assed take.
You couldn't find a credible ID doc or epidemiologist on the planet that would have told any POTUS differently at that time.
I don't care what you think about Trump, no other President would have opposed the policy.
Moreover, he was pilloried for nor taking the threat more seriously and doing more.

I'm a conservative political junkie and I follow it like a bloodsport. Others follow college football or other topics more closely. At the moment, the ideological and political struggle within the republican party is of great interest to me. And the fact of the matter is that we are in a primary battle that should be pretty heated. I don't like Trump from a policy standpoint and believe DeSantis's more conservative principles and more disciplined approach offer a superior path forward.
You nutsack-fleas can continue to cry about my criticisms of Trump. And hide from addressing his failures and missteps. You can robotically say muh 24-7 and muh TDS and lob your boring, weak ad hominems all you want. No problem on my end!

Yeah, maybe in March and April. The point is that he got completely fooled and let the situation turn into a whimsical treadmill with elusive, often arbitrary or even undefined goals. He should have had far more accountability for these clowns instead of allowing them to continually dictate policies for the country for months on end.

What a terrible reason to do something. That makes Trump sound like such a weak man. Ruining businesses and our economy all because he's afraid of poor treatment from the media.
They crucified him over COVID anyway, so great work Trump.
Do you anticipate a warm feeling of overwhelming reward when you realize you're still a useful idiot?

False. Democrat counties did.
Trump closed an entire country and destroyed his economy but he can do no wrong in tCult’s eyes.

How is it that people were still being arrested in my state of FL during spring break in 2021?
Why didn't DeSantis end their ability to do that until May 2021?
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH
DECLARATION OF A STATE OF EMERGENCY
EXTENDED THROUGH 11:59 P.M. on March 17, 2021
WHEREAS, coronavirus disease 2019 (“COVID-19”), a severe acute respiratory
illness caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus that can spread rapidly from person to person
and cause serious illness or death, constitutes a clear and present threat to the lives,
health, welfare and safety of the people of the City of Miami Beach; and
WHEREAS, on March 9, 2020, Governor Ron DeSantis issued Executive Order
20-52, declaring a State of Emergency for the State of Florida related to COVID-19; and
That's the order by which they arrested people!
BASED ON THE FOREGOING, I HEREBY extend the Declaration of a State of
Emergency in the City of Miami Beach to address the COVID-19 pandemic, and
extend the Emergency Measures ordered and promulgated pursuant to such
Declaration, as may be further amended, for an additional seven (7) day period,
commencing at 12:00 a.m. March 11, 2021, and ending at 11:59 p.m. on March 17,
2021, unless extended by the Miami Beach City Commission by duly enacted
