His only real strength was the economy. COVID response destroyed that. So, I'm guessing that's exactly why he lost. That or his failure to build a wall. Or his "Law and Order" tweets during race riots... He lost so much support from suburban white men it's hard to pinpoint.

So people didn’t like their states being locked down so they elected the granddaddy of lockdowns with a side of forced vaccinations? Interesting

DeSantis was locked down all the way up to the election. What are you talking about?

I don't hold DeSantis accountable for the CDC/NIH. I hold Trump accountable for those agencies because they are in the executive branch. CDC/NIH are the root of everything Covid response.

Uh... yeah? The buck stops with the president.

You forget Pence was the lead person on that committee. Pence also assured him that the data presented was correct

We all witnessing what a back stabber Pence turned out to be. And Pence was touted as the most CONSERVATIVE GOVERNOR of that time. Where else have I heard that recently?

We’ll isn’t that convenient for you and Ron DeSantis

See I don’t hold either “accountable” for the miscalculations of global health experts.

How is the CDC/NIH being a part of the executive branch convenient for me? And what does that have to do with Ron DeSantis?

I mean… literally everyone followed the same protocols in that first year. Everyone gets a pass for following the prevailing science around Covid except :drumroll: Trump.

Because you apparently knew better, so Trump should have known better. That’s your argument.

But Ron couldn’t have known better? What were Florida health experts telling him in the Spring of 2020? Did he listen?

And what does that have to do with Ron DeSantis?

That if the swamp is willing to do this to a sitting president, that they are going to relax their grip enough so that Ron can win

That level of delusion is actually mind-blowing

Trump thinks he did everything right. Crazy to give him a pass for that.

COVID-24 would have Trump suggesting locking us down all over again.

Do you think governor's were acting on data/science/warnings from their own state health departments? Seriously, why is this hard to understand?

And there's a difference between what the CDC/NIH put out and "science." This was understood nearly in real time.

Again… Trump didn’t lock down your state, or anyone else’s.

How? By re-electing him? Polling isn't the same thing as voting. We'll see when the voting starts.

80% to DeSantis 7... try again.

It's not a game. People's lives were ruined because of lockdowns. Trump still defends his actions. Maybe that's why he's not President anymore.

And they blame DeSantis for leaving them at the mercy of Democrat ran areas!

They're not bright. So no.

They just throw shite at the wall hoping something will stick.

I think it's impossible to find Trump acknowledging that he made any mistakes regarding COVID. His worshipers pretend he "learned from his mistakes" but I can't seem to find him admitting that he ever made a mistake.

COVID-24 Trump would be championing lock downs all over again.

Let's review...

1) We worship him, but rejected his advice.

2) You guys call him an incompetent liar, then accepted/followed his advice.

3) You guys got jabbed despite credible warnings based on science & common sense.

4) You bought into the nonsensical mask rhetoric, the plexiglas shields @ cash registers, the Covid curfews, etc...

5) You got jabbed some more despite more credible warnings based on science & common sense.

6) In typical, hypocritical, leftist fashion, you're incapable of admitting you were wrong, being accountable for your own actions, & looking to place blame elsewhere.

7) In your infinite wisdom acquired via hindsight, somehow it's all Trump's fault.

Conclusion: You're an idiot.

No. My argument is Trump should have known better.

Do you not understand how f'n crazy what was "advised" was? You post like you think it's just SOP to lock shite down, suspend liberties, spend trillions whenever we're scared of something.

Ron should have known better than to put too much faith in Trump's CDC. I agree.

Yes. They were.

Lockdown orders in most states were based on local case/death data.

By the 2020 election, the only recommendations the CDC made were halting non essential travel to China, suggested masking for those over 2 years of age, and 6 feet of social distancing. No mandates. That’s it.

But Ron locked his state down. Trump didn’t lock any state down.

Don’t vote for Trump, I really don’t care. But you are lashing out at windmills. Get your facts straight.
