I think Hunter may have swapped out a laptop. Hunter would have left a clean laptop that looked just like his. Hunter takes a dirty laptop and drops it off with his other two laptops at the repair shop.
FBI gets all three laptops, looks into them, raids the psychiatrist. Hunter gets his laptop back because it wasn't dirty.
Speculation of course, but this story is getting hard to make sense of.
They swapped laptops somehow. That seems obvious. Whether intentionally or accidentally remains to be seen.

That's interesting that this dude declared Joe had dementia. He was hooked up with Hunter somehow. I imagine Hunter was pretty pissed about that considering Hunter was supposedly counting on Joe to run so he could "redeem himself."

Hunter Biden snagged that dude's laptop because it had evidence incriminating him in something and he knew it. He left a clean laptop of his that looked just like it in its place.
He then turns in the psychiatrist's laptop with two of his own at the computer repair shop hoping the blind repair man would simply wipe all of the evidence and resell the computers.
Hunter got his laptop back because he placed a clean laptop in the psychiatrist's office. The psychiatrist got raided because the blind repair man wasn't as blind as Hunter thought.
