Forbes article for the downvoters

You fools need to research this stuff. You'll sound more informed when you are blabbering on Facebook.

So an article from April 2020 when nobody really knew what the hell was going on is going to inform everyone????

He’s speaking with fork-ed tongue

He said “your chance of surviving COVID if you’re vaccinated is CLOSE TO, 100%!”

Well, it’s a fact that ANYONE, vaccinated or unvaccinated, survives COVID at CLOSE TO 100%!

So yes, he’s inadvertently a liar I agree and he’s gone politician on us

I’m disappointed in my Governor

Exactly, again I'm a Trump fan. But he thought supporting lockdowns would help him win the election.

Or…all we knew at the time was China had unleashed a bio weapon on the United States and he wanted to proceed with an abundance of caution until we figured out what was really going on.

Yep, that too. Trump would tell people to open up, say he was ok with lockdowns, and bash Kemp for opening up. He was all over the place during those daily briefings. They were a mess.....and frick kemp

Desantis is for the shot, no lockdowns.

DeSantis has always been for the shot. I don’t really know of any politicians that aren’t pro vaccine

Are you trying to say a governor should not be telling his citizens to get vaccinated? Because that would be really dumb and a terrible look. DeSantis has said since the beginning people should get it I don’t see understand the point of this post

I can also be killed in a car crash if I wear my seatbelt. This isn’t an excuse to not wear a seatbelt. As a libertarian I don’t give a frick if you don’t wear your seatbelt, but I’d still advise it.

This is a silly analogy. We have “seat belts” called IMMUNE SYSTEMS. Why the hell are kids being vaccinated?

That's false. Trump said multiple times he was for lockdowns. Of course the state has the final say so.

Trump was against the lockdowns, but then followed the "SCIENCE" by listening to the midget.

The same Midget that funded the experiments and now has to revert to yelling and screaming each time he gets in front of a camera.......Fauci's problem now ....he's battling real Doctors that understand exactly what the virus is all about. Fauci's email trails have exposed him.

I hope they find a trail and string that midget up and everyone in the government that was involved ...

You have an infinitely less of a chance of dying from the vaccine.....nothing like taking extreme outlier cases and blowing them out of proportion. People who get the shot and contract the Delta variant are not dying.

I am however suspicious of the rise of this variant and the upcoming Gamma version

If you’re in your 20s through 40s, it’s debatable that I took the bigger risk. Yes, that’s on the board. But people in their 70s and 80s, no. Pretty established that the vaccine is safer than getting the virus.

I’m not sure why you are being downvoted.
This seems logical based on what we know.

Almost.

It is exceedingly rare. Kind of like those that have previously had Covid.

You definitely don't have a high chance of dying if you do nothing.

I just want the option, and once it’s presented, let me do me. If someone dies from not getting the vaccine, it’s sad, but no longer my problem. Same if I also die from getting the vaccine. It’s sad, but not your problem. It’s mine. I weighed my risks and decided the shot was worth it. Same with you. Neither of us deserve to die, but we at least had the opportunity to weigh the risks.

But it is my problem, what if I or a family member (God forbid) gets sick, i'm not ok with having a lesser quality of service because the hospital is full of unvaxxed people. What if I want to be there for the birth of my children and can't? The selfishness and self-involvement of Americans cant be great some times but for dealing with a pandemic it has proven to be a real vulnerability.
