Commie NY Mayor De Blasio Claims Children Demanded “Meatless Mondays” and More Vegetables For Lunch
De Blasio said in a video he posted to Twitter on Earth Day that the children demanded “Meatless Mondays” and more vegetables in their lunches.
De Blasio visited a cafeteria in Brooklyn where he claimed he spent time with 4th graders through 7th graders who are passionate about being healthy and saving the planet.
“[T]hey [children] believe in ‘Meatless Mondays,'” De Blasio said. “More vegetables and more fruits, more meatless options are good for everyone and good for the earth, too”
“The kids told me that the food tastes better now that they have meatless options…and they’re excited to eat…always want our kids to eat their veggies and now they’re actually doing it.”
A woman tweeted at De Blasio and called out his lies.
“I’ve worked in NYC schools, the kids hate the meatless meals, they aren’t kid friendly,” the woman said in a tweet to de Blasio.

This would be more accurate, because that is how the Democrats roll. One special snowflake makes a demand, and the Democrats will bend over backwards to accommodate them, no matter the consequence for the rest of us, to make sure the special snowflake feels all good, fuzzy, and warm on the inside.
