On abortion....yea Kirk was pretty extreme even among conservatives. Look what do.you expect....Charlie invited controversy....he said provacative shite to stir the pot.....I appreciated some of it. But folks had a right to force fully criticize or even mock him . He welcomed the fight.

Well, he went into the snake pit and had dialogue. Something leftists would have appreciated (or so they say) a couple of decades ago.
And they killed him anyway.
Its impossible to reason with people who believe words are violence and microgressions cause harm. Its a mob that feeds off of each other and feels entitled due to verious social justice/feminist fairy tales.
So what now? Who will step across the aisle now? This is exactly what this terroristic action was trying to do, stop them from coming on campus.

CK. was accosted by some Antifa fricks 10.years ago and Cenk said CK welcomes the confrontation so.he can be the martyr and Rubin is acting like Cenk was horrible for using the term martyr.
If.Cenk has said that today after he had actually been killed that would of course been reprehensible....but in the context it was fine and is a term folks use in that way all the time in normal discussion

He said he wants to be a martyr so he can play the victim later, that's clearly not saying he wants to die.
This board (rightfully) says the Left loves to play the victim. Cenk seems to be saying the same thing about CK.

There really isn't a path forward. He was one of the few guys trying to make connections and bridge the gap IRL. Everyone is just going to flamethrow on social media more than ever and things will get more polarized. I'm in a very pessimistic mindset right now about how it all plays out.
