Name recognition isn't required. Especially right now.

What's required is a "D" next to their name, and to bash Trump and anyone associated with him at every opportunity. At that point the media will ensure that not only do you know his name, you'll also be tired of hearing it.

And democrats will support that person no matter what. In the general election, if that person were the nominee, it's understandable. But it's the primaries that crack me up. They'll have decent alternatives who are much better. But the lunatic person the media pushes will ultimately get the nomination.
