Why can't these things happen in the dead of winter? And now that I think about it, how come all the videos I've seen of Seattle don't depict steady rain? Was I lied to about the constant rain?

The cop kept saying don’t do it. What if he told them he’s going to get his gun and kill them. You would have to assume that you when he reached down it was I. Fact a weapon he was grabbing.

I know it's not the responsibility of the police to explain with great detail the situation, and possibly, saying so may be a crime in this 'woke new world', but had they explained /shouted this, as he stormed to the driver side of his car, it would have helped. He possibly would have squared up, spouted God knows what, and they could have taken him down (with no loss of life).
Tasers would have been of great use, as well.

You don’t understand the issue. They can’t commit all three cops to wrestling with that guy. There are probably plenty of other hostiles around, and they need two cops, at least, to cover the action.

Someone read the comments and made it their own. What a dumbass. Cops are not ere walking calmly too asking to not do it. Did he tell them he was getting his gun?
