What does “statistical dead heat” mean in this exact context, in this exact situation? For reference, my immediate presumption is that you mean in a poll fairly devised to cover the entire state, particularly factoring in population density and the “political makeup” of them (in other words, not a poll consisting of only people in Austin, lol); and the poll has relatively simple terminology/phraseology ideally “Who will/would you vote for in the blah blah Senate election? Tap 1 for Paxton, Tap 2 for Talarico”; and after all that the duly verified and published results are literally a dead heat.
If it doesn’t pretty much follow that type flow, frankly I wouldn’t find it believable.
