Caught it last week. Nothing more than a common cold for me. Fortunate

Don't most covid cases go unreported?
It presents as a cold usually.
Most people I know just rest for a couple of days. They don't run to get some test.
How can you figure a death rate if most cases are unreported?

100,000 people a month are dying from this.
We’re going to run out of citizens in no time.

I think more people should learn some pretty easy to find facts and stats.
More people die during the winter
I appreciate you providing us these stats on a daily basis.

Here’s what is coming around the bend quickly.
1) a change in PCR testing protocols. They’ll limit the number of cycles and say “this is a novel virus. We’re learning that above this level X, a positive test isn’t useful without a clinical presentation of the disease.” That will be a lie. Because we’ve always known that.
This will drastically reduce the number of positive cases and drastically reduce the need for contact tracing. Cases will go through the floor.
2. We will change how we count Covid deaths. We will shift from “with Covid” to “from Covid.” The same bullshite “novel virus” and “we’re learning” excuse will be repeated.
3. CARES money for hospitals treating coronavirus cases will be decreased which will decrease the demand for and incentive for positive cases.
4. We will hear that a live virus can not be cultured from a patient 9 days post infection. We’ve known that for a while. They’ll pretend it’s new information. The length of quarantine will be diminished to 7 days from presentation of the virus, 10 days for exposure.
5. We will announce victory over the virus. And not a fricking thing will have changed.

Looks like we are finally pat the holiday spike. I’m predicting that with vaccines rolling out this is the last spike we will ever see.
