No it's not. Both countries were having elections(the US was at least) and Obama had to focus on winning against Romney

so why did he tell them he'd have "more flexibility" after he won? if they're our sworn enemy (despite his mocking Romney for saying that..ok politics and politicians lying on the campaign trail...whatever), why would he have to let them know he'd have more flexibility? flexibility...to do what, exactly? that doesn't imply a negative outcome for Russia

What we now know is just scratching the surface of what actually happened, hopefully this will cause some of those involved that have not yet been identified to start turning on the others in a effort to save themselves.
