Trump always said the jobs numbers are fake and inflated with the real rate much higher. They only became real numbers to him once elected.
March numbers have been revised. I wonder if he thinks these are still too high after being revised? Getting around the 200K area is Obummer numbers.

The U.S. economy had about 501,000 fewer jobs as of March 2019 than the Bureau of Labor Statistics initially calculated in its survey of business establishments. That’s the largest revision since the waning stages of the Great Recession in 2009.

I too cannot wait for the economy to tank just so we can rid ourselves of the Orange little hands, comrade.

About 2.5 mil net jobs were added per the prior data during that 12 months preceding that date. A revision down to closer to 2.0 is pretty fricking big, man.

According to the second link, the number of additional jobs was over stated, but it goes on to say demand for new employees was high; however, there was a shortage of skilled workers to fill the demand.

The same article goes on to say that it’s very possible wage escalation was understated because of the shortage of skilled workers, and Wage rates rose more than reported.

Seems to me to be good news in the demand for workers is high and wages are increasing. The bad news is we aren’t training folks who can take those good jobs.

It merely means it was less good, not that it is bad

The level of work production seems to have risen and remained strong, just fewer workers with skills to match the needs of employers. Therfore, thooe who can do go more overtime work. The purchasing power remains strong and the economy continues to flourish.

Those straws remain out of reach for the Trump haters. So many salivate at the least bit of negative news without caring to see the larger picture of what has been accomplished and the positive impact on the company emotionally and fiscally.

The data say that average weekly hours haven't been increasing this year.
