This already exists in many states. Why do you want to create disincentives for saving for and providing for your family after your death? What percentage is high enough to make the jealous and greedy satisfied?
Can you not attempt to discuss this stuff without pearl clutching and spouting defenses for far left socialism?
We can make it easy for you and remove any grey area and establish that AI has taken ~50% of jobs in an extreme scenario.
What now? How does the world and United States in particular work through that?

Defenses “against” might have been a better way to type that? As in your defenses for when someone brings up socialism. Like playing defense against it.

The problem with AI is that I suspect computer vision, summarization of mass data, etc will end up becoming a surveillance tool to snuff out political dissent in the cradle à la Minority Report.
Additionally, most people lack the discernment to identify AI generated slop right now when it sort of sucks. Imagine what it will look like with another decade of polish? My guess is generated “reality” will be the soft element of social control while the surveillance element is the cudgel.
