I won't answer this with the sarcasm and arrogance that AggieSpank did, but it's a fair statement to make. Here's why:
I think it takes a very very deranged person to point blank murder a child, especially one that young and even more especially one that the murderer knows personally. To do something so beyond heinous tells me there is something deeply personal pushing this fricker to do this. I don't think it's for riding his bike on his lawn. This appears to be a revenge killing for something the father did to the murderer, so that "business associates" quip alludes to just that. It could be a number of things: bad drug deal, stole drugs, lost his money, etc.
It's highly likely none of that is true, but I can't imagine anyone murdering a child just to do it. Maybe I'm just naive

I should have pointed out that one of the things Hank didn't address because, again, it's not politically correct to do so is...………….well...………….
You see those colored areas of your map? Yeah. Those are the MOST black people in the world. "Black" people in the United States are far less black. For obvious reasons.
But you know where, within the US, you'll find the MOST black people? Easy. Where they are concentrated. Which, of course is why it's probably that the average black IQ in Washington State is far higher than the average black IQ in Georgia or Mississippi.
I get it. There's this enormous desire to bend over backwards to avoid being called names. But, it ain't productive.

In fact, it is exactly what one would expect for areas with crappy governance and crappy education. For example, Texas is 41% White with good governance and good education. It has the highest IQ in the SEC (Missouri doesn't really count, does it?) Mississippi is 58% White with crappy governance and crappy education. It has the lowest IQ in the SEC. Georgia is roughly equivalent to Mississippi in White percentage (and the 2nd-highest Black population at 34%), with good governance and good schools. It is near the top in IQ. As I told Shorty this morning, I suspect that race, environment and education may all play some role in this calculus.

First. Texas isn't 41% white. It's cute that you somehow eliminated "Hispanic Whites" from the number(all those whites wouldn't get a pass if they shot a black suspect)
In any case. Texas Under 13% black.
Mississippi 37.7%
Georgia 34% with MASSIVE population center that attracted every half bright black person in the south for 3 decades

It's not nearly so complicated.
Blacks of means are no different than whites. That's why, in my "white flight suburb", there are plenty of engineer type blacks. They have the good sense to leave the concentrations of blacks also.
The Pacific NW was whiter than white white white forever. Virtually 100% of the blacks there are the result of relocation over time. OF COURSE that group would be brighter! LOL That isn't "culture". That's "smart people run from dumb people whenever they can".
This is all why trying to cherry pick results in failure. Smart blacks engage in "flight" just like whites do. So, when you find a "flight" group of blacks, they are, via self selection, not very representative of much.
This is Stats 101. The more hyper narrow you get when looking at groups, the less group information you are getting and the more narrow individual behavior information you are getting.
It would be like looking only at white guys on track sprint teams the white population's comparative speed with blacks.

There may have been. I saw another story and the shooter had a rap sheet, including selling drugs out of his house. The shooter and the child’s dad were supposedly friendly and had hung out at the shooters house the night before that. Who knows.
