I'm not going to advocate for communism, but that's a cute thing we do where we sanction a country to death to try to collapse it. Pompeo used to basically laugh about it with Iran.

It’s was bad before the blockade but obviously that made it even worse.

Once we removed Maduro, and took back control of oil, the daily news media outrage reports on drug boats being taken out stopped, why is that?

Because the US Media is largely pro-Globalists themselves. They were trying to influence Americans to be against any action in Venezuela, for the same reason they falsely claim ending USAID has caused kids in 3rd world countries to starve since it ended.

Cuba is much closer to the U.S. mainland and Florida. The tourism alone would boost their economy big time. You could travel to Cuba from Miami or Key West for the day by boat for lunch and be back home by late afternoon/early evening.

Once USSR folded Cuba went through "the dark period". Then Chavez later Maduro would ship oil to Cuba at a deep deep discount, with surplus which they would resell on the open market.

As Venezuela production fell China kept demanding the lion's share and the shipments to Cuba diminished and they entered the second dark period.

Not only have we cut off the oil, we stopped countries from taking their doctors. They used to ship out thousands of doctors. Trinidad is an example. We paid half the salary to the doctor here locally and the other half we shipped back to Cuba. The doctors at half pay were making far more than they would in Cuba. Now that that is cut off we said we would give them an extra 25%, save 25% and they could stay.

They have little left. Their rum company is foreign owned, same with cigars, and beer. They have stakes in them but not enough to fix things.

They spent all their cash building hotels....and forgot to fix their power systems, water, etc. Tourists galore getting sick cause of the lack of refrigeration, sweating their arses off, and no water for a shower.

This has to be done for the people's sake. They would have continued to suck the country dry while their people literally die on the street.

And it will be soon. Bessent is on the case and those offshore accounts are getting frozen. They will come around with a quickness.
