And I’m also laughing at you thinking DJT is a dictator

This is exactly what is called "deflection."
If you want to talk about fraud and waste, focus on Trumps tariff program and the stock market, where his compadres made tons of money off his tariff fiasco.

1) Whats the purpose of checks and balances?
2) When the next democrat is elected, do you want lax checks on power?
I kbnow 100% that you cant be honest here. But try anyway

Roger doesn't like socialism.
Then why does he support policies that encourage it?
What happened when America started being able to buy $10 toasters from China? What happened to towns all across the Midwest, Appalachia, and the South?
When unemployment increases, so does welfare.
Your "textbook economics" only looks at profit and cost of goods. It doesn't consider the costs of unemployment, increased crime, higher addiction rates. It doesn't address the crumbling infrastructure of cities that lost most of their tax base.
It doesn't analyze the social results. The families that have to move apart to find jobs. The community of trust and protection lost as towns decay.
The same mindset that moved manufacturing to China is now bringing in illegals and H1Bs. We all know the disastrous results of that.
While you may think you are a true conservative, the results of policies you support are anything but conservative. Sometimes, it's better to put the textbook down and examine the real world.

Tariffs are more socialist than anything I support
Somewhere along the line you kids were severely misinformed about the left/right spectrum.

Of course it has.
Because judges know everything.

Fine with me. All theyre doing is fricking their own consumer and stifling their own innovation.
You know, the victim of the tariff, the consumer.

Those are the exact results, and the intent of "barriers to entry."
Its pure protectionism, cronyism. The consumer loses.

quote:
The imposition of tariffs can have a profound negative impact on innovation across various industries.
Tariffs raise the cost of imported goods and materials, leading to higher production expenses for companies that rely on global supply chains. These increased costs can result in reduced profit margins, leaving less capital available for investment in research and development (R&D). A study by the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation (ITIF) found that a 10% tariff on imports could reduce R&D investment returns in high-tech manufacturing by up to 50%.
For rapid innovation you need more competition, not less.
quote:
Conservative economic policies prioritize free-market principles, encouraging competition among businesses. This fosters innovation, efficiency, and productivity, as companies strive to provide better products and services at competitive prices.
