Why would I lie about my mother in law who’s been in the hospital for about two weeks now and is on day 6 of being on a ventilator in a sedated coma?

If we put leaches on a few Covid patients and they got better (as most do anyway) would leaches be an “obvious cure?”
There are good reasons why the drug is being tested, and good reasons why other drugs are being tested. None are “obvious cures” at this point. Your suggestion that we should stop analysis, declare a cure and give this one compound to everyone as an “obvious cure” is dark ages mentality.

But this medication is already available and doctors can prescribe it off label already. If it’s affective they’ll get that around the medical community. I dont See them waiting for the government to say go.

Although I’m sorry about Mom in law if you’re telling truth, I’m thinking she didn’t try Hydroxychloroquine as you allege

I have a friend who has Lupus and has been on it for years. No side effects and she is a nurse so she also may be protected. It is a great thing to have this.

This is why I'm pissed off with this charade.

Lol so I was supposed to run to The internet and tell everyone my wife’s mom medical info as soon as it happened? I don’t post stuff looking for sympathy. The only reason I mentioned it now is due to these claims of a miracle drug. The doctors started the hydroxychloroquine on her first day at the hospital (even before they had positive the test results because she had all of the symptoms). I’m not saying it isn’t an effective/promising drug I just know it didn’t “cure” her or improve her conditions as you and many are claiming it can. Maybe it works for others, maybe it’s more effective if you use it at a specific time of the virus etc etc. all of that is part of researching and data gathering. Which is the entire reason many of us are saying chill out on calling it a miracle drug and back to work we go.
I don’t even know why I’m typing all this anyway cause clearly you are a crazy person.
