Cory Booker wants to go beyond mere reparations for slavery

“Do you support reparations for black people?” Starr asked Booker. “I support reparations,” Booker responded “I support economically designed programs with race as a conscious part of them that balance the scales and address past ills—not just slavery, but even things that were going on in the fifties, sixties and seventies that were specifically race-conscious programs that were designed to disadvantage African Americans,” said Booker. “So, if you have programs that were designed to create the problems by excluding African Americans in housing, in mortgage loans, in access to capital, we need to have things with race in mind that are conscious to balance those scales and address those past things,” Booker said.

I want reparations from affirmative action.

That is a declaration of war. This country is fricked if he and his ilk obtain more power.

So, all that and he repeats this well worn lie

These idiots don't understand their cognitive dissonance. When will these morons just start campaigning for slavery for white people?

So free houses and interest free loans with no expectation of payment?
It always makes me laugh and the interpretation of what non-white people think being white is like

Ill take some reparations.
"yall got any mo of them reparations?"
"yall got any mo of them reparations?"

Legit frightened about the future of my country if these frickers gain anymore power.

Nah, this is a good thing.
This is the representation of a fringe opinion that politicians think is mainstream because all their political strategies come from Twitter.

Which, by definition would disadvantage everyone else
Which, he says is cause to have reparations
So, does this mean at some point in the future, there would be reparations for non blacks>?
Also. Are ANY of these proposals time limited? I mean surely, these "balancing" policies shouldn't be open ended, right?

The truth of the matter is they would love to take it as far as seizing the land of whites ala Africa.

I think that's the most infuriating part. These people are allowed to casually discuss very complex and extremely expensive policies yet the press doesn't push them on anything beyond their regurgitated platitudes.

These candidates are going as far left as they can to try and out left Sanders. Going to make it real easy for Creepy Joe to win even with the metoo handsy issue.

Lots of truth here.

He mentions the 50s, 60s and 70s...yet chooses to leave out the 40s. That was when hundreds of thousands of Japanese Americans were forced to surrender their homes / businesses and relocated to remote, barren lands due to post Pearl Harbor hysteria. I'm sure that was an honest omission...right, Fartacus?

Counterpoint: I want reparations for all the trouble integration caused American Americans during those years, seeing as to how it was a complete failure.

Those individuals already had a reparations program.
