If the Dems were smart, they probably would get behind Tulsi. Thank God they aren't smart. Probably even too dumb to put her on the ticket as the Veep. A lot of Moderate and independent white women would probably support her.

Good. The idea of reparations is wildly unpopular.
They're selling out for the black vote in the primary but it will kill them in the general.

I am sure the blacks and lily whites will continue to push for this as some kind of closure on slavery, but believe me, it will not close any thing and do the opposite. It will cause a longer drawn out inclusion of slavery and racist actions in our society for centuries to come.

What bothers me on this subject is this...after multiple generations in the country with public education, welfare, etc. how come immigrants from Asia and Latin America who can't speak English almost immediately flourish in this wonderful country...yet other folks can't pull themselves together and advance.
