Booker gets called out while campaigning in SC about his acceptance of $300k from big pharma. Promptly tells the gentleman that it’s fake news and for him to check Politifact.
Only problem is Politifact confirms he accepted the $300k.

A Politifact fact check article confirms Booker has taken more than $300,000 from Big Pharma. He claimed that “everything” the young man said is “not true,” but the website Booker directed the man to confirms that Booker is incorrect. Politifact is also run by Poynter, not WaPo, as Booker said.

He knew that was a bullshite response, he just needed to give a response that would keep people guessing until the truth was found out. He's like a Project Manager bullshiting the midst of a rough Project.

I believe a key criteria for advancement is the ability to bullshite your way through a meeting when you don't know what is going on so you can go figure it out before the next meeting.
