Only in someone like eggandflow's eyes does railing against censorship equal "using the government to ease fears."
Censorship is bad no matter what side of the aisle you fall on, that's why we same up with the second amendment. Yes, I know it doesn't apply to a private company like Twitter or Facebook; but the entire basis for its' existence remains. Censorship doesn't benefit anybody.
If that is somehow "using the government to ease fears" in your eyes you're totally obtuse. Not surprising in the least when the OP is taken into account.
It should be noted that I don't have a dog in the fight as I don't use either platform for social media, but when Google can limit search results and then strike down the alternatives that pop up due to market demand ALL BY ITSELF there's a problem.
TLDR - I'm totally scared, man. The government is the only thing that can save our lives!!!

-Increased spending on welfare for illegal aliens.
-Universal healthcare that's going to bankrupt us.
-Eliminating consumer choice in in the healthcare industry and freedom to chose their own doctor and healthcare plans.
-Restricting if not outright eliminating our right to bear weapons for our own self defense and against an oppressive government.
-Legislation that makes the cost of living absolutely unaffordable with high energy prices, high grocery prices, high leisure/entertainment prices, high water prices and high rent prices and property taxes.
-High taxes that steal more of your income and redistribute it to those sitting on their asses.
