That’s not why she can’t afford to live in dc right now. I never said she was brilliant on the mic. But by this time next year, she will have lived in Astoria Queens and Capitol Hill on her own dime, which is more than most of her critics on this board could ever pull off.

Setting the bar super low for "life accomplishment" goals eh?
No wonder she's as hero to the left. It's like a race to the bottom.

Wait, having to pay rent and use money for stuff is real? Isn't that just some capitalist invention?
Ask your socialist buddies to let you sleep on their couch.

Couldn’t she just live in her office once one is assigned to her?
I have read about some stingy Republicans doing that because you don’t need to “live” in Washington you only need to be there part time when Congress is in session.

I think if I were a newly elected Congressman and couldn’t afford rent/didn’t have the credit to get an apartment, I’d keep that shite to myself. It’s nobody else’s business.
But then, I wouldn’t be able to use my predicament to rail against the evils of capitalism. So there is that.

And watch, after a couple of years in congress she'll probably be worth millions.

I’m from Louisiana; I’ve lived in DC and Queens before.
