I'm not disputing the undeniable fact that our state and federal representatives do not operate with we the people as their priority.
I agree with this 100%.
My point is that our votes decide who represents us. When I hear folks suggest that our votes don't matter or can't effect change, I disagree strongly.
I was criticized here for voting for the person running against Mike Johnson, said the guybwas a substitute teacher. That's what we need more of, regular tax payers and less of fake folks only seeking their own interest.

A simple law allowing for the instant removal of those here illegally doesn't seem like much to ask for. Literally every other country in the world has this.

Are you proposing we do away with due process?
And as others often suggest here on TD, “if you like other countries better, why don’t you go live there?”

No. Confirming legal status is all the due process necessary.

Can't. They secure their borders.

Do tell us anything the democrats have refrained from doing if it suited them.

One thing many don't know is that a near majority if not all Congressmen are only in their DC office3 days a week They usually leave DC either late Wed. nite or early Thursday morning. Returning to their offices back home. Flying back to DC on Sunday nites or early Monday mornings. This does change, a bit, when there are major votes on the docket.

If a person can't prove their a legal citizen, what process is needed???
If you were asked to prove your citizenship, how difficult would that be?????

They don’t [do]the will of the voters.

Thank you sir!! This is so obvious.
Yet, many of this soft, weak, society would rather deflect responsibility.

Both Obama and Biden were largely hamstrung by Congress. Each of them managed to get through one large piece of legislation. That was it.
A lot of Biden‘s executive action was checked by the courts.
If you had true unilateral action by the executive, we would have a full single payer healthcare system, a national $30 minimum wage, possibly a repeal of right to work laws, parts of the Green new deal, and God only knows what else.
