It’s not simply a small government philosophy as you’re implying. It’s often a no government philosophy, which is retarded and suicidal

Nobody is a Big-L on here. I don't even know if Dave Smith is one.

Trump gave them more than any other politician ever would in pardoning the silk road guy, which is all he promised them
And libertarians praised him for that

But it never altered their principles

MAGA expected Trump to be fellated over it, which was funny

Libertarians have been mortified with Trump

Not sure who their "in group" would be.

That comment was about MAGA

When they feel they're oppressed by Obama/Biden, they want less government

When they are in power, they want more government.

They have no principles, only vibes.

Or is he really losing his mind?

Now I have no principles classic SFP

Who have I advocated for being cancelled or expressed it’s a good thing or strategy that should be done?

People being fired for openly celebrating Kirk’s assassination isn’t being cancelled. I think that’s the best argument you could muster against me

As a libertarian, we can't agree on our principles.

Dave Smith has done numerous debates on this and there are Libertarians that hate Dave.

Dave Smith and I don't think you can have open borders, other libertarians do.

Hell, remember when they loved Dave Smith for his "muh CIA" silliness when it was used to criticize America/the CIA/The "Deep State" re: Russia/Ukraine?

Now he does the same stuff when their guy is in power doing Deep State stuff and he's a pussy and traitor.

Uh, no. Why would I? I didn't become a libertarian until fall 2005.

Did I say your name or quote you?

Why wouldn't it be?

Are you defining "cancelled" in a super-specific way?

Maybe its you guys that are the hypocrites?

You guys?

I've been openly critical of Dave Smith and the basis of his rhetoric

I don't know who you are, so I can't speak to you, personally.

But I see right wing demands for canceling everywhere.

I know you disagree with me on this subject, but IMO, this is probably the smartest message board on the internet when it comes to sniffing out deep state CIA/NED/USAID globalist regime change shenanigans in places like Ukraine and the country of Georgia when Victoria Nuland, Christina Pushaw, and Samantha Power are running them. But, there is just a massive blind spot now here when it comes to Iran and Venezuela.

I would bet most of this board agreed with Jeff Sachs, John Mearsheimer, Larry Johnson, Ray McGovern, Scott Ritter, Col. Larry Wilkerson, Col. Doug Macgregor, Lt. Col Danny Davis, Ambassador Chas Freeman and the like when the subject was Ukraine. Now, those guys are out of favor here other than with a few people like GumboPot, HRV, and texas tortilla.

This is only en vogue b/c people perceive their team to be in power (the time to use that government power).

When the out-group is in power, they'll do a 180 and want to restrict government (as the out-group uses that sweet state authority).

This is just like the neocon bullshite and how it comes in/out of favor when convenient. Long-term principles be damned.
As an American libertarian I found his ""comments"" incomprehensibly offensive.

I rarely look at poster titles when I engage.

I mean no disrespect. Wasn't trying to big time anyone.

I mean more that I don't have an encyclopedic knowledge of everyone's posts
