You know there’s a special spot in hell thats being saved for Comcast executives alongside Hitler, Atilla, and Stalin. frick Comcast. I really wish the worst on these people.

But Comcast also wants the FCC to go further by making a declaration that states cannot impose their own regulations on broadband. The filing said:
We also emphasized that the Commission's order in this proceeding should include a clear, affirmative ruling that expressly confirms the primacy of federal law with respect to BIAS [Broadband Internet Access Service] as an interstate information service, and that preempts state and local efforts to regulate BIAS either directly or indirectly. Despite calling for the FCC to abandon the legal authority it uses to enforce net neutrality rules, Comcast said it supports "a free and open Internet" and "legally enforceable net neutrality protections."
Comcast told Pai's staff that the FCC could adopt net neutrality rules using its other authority—but the FCC tried that in 2010, and this previous attempt at enforcing net neutrality rules was struck down in court. Alternatively, Comcast said the FCC could decide not to impose its own rules and simply rely on the Federal Trade Commission "to ensure that ISPs' public commitments to core open Internet protections are honored." Such a move would essentially set up a "voluntary" net neutrality system in which ISPs would face no rules and would choose whether to make net neutrality commitments.

I know this is a stretch but I don't Think Comcast executives are as morally bad as people that killed millions of people
That's just me though

It's not just Comcast. Charter, Cox, AT&T, Verizon are just as bad. AT&T sued the city of Louisville to keep Google fiber out of the city. That's how these monopolies operate.

Yeah, OP loses all credibility with that conflation of execs seeking a business ruling and Nazi's lining people up for gas chambers.

Comcast isn’t into murder, but extortion and torture. If I was to run for President, my first promise to the American people would be to bomb Comcast.

I think I’m supposed to like this right? I get a "fast lane" and stuff.

I’m floored by the people here that insist net neutrality is a bad thing even though it’s enforcement came about AFTER a string of abuses by the big companies, and now there is shite like this.

BUT ITS OKAY! WE DONT NEED NET NEUTRALITY! IF A COMPANY PROHIBITS PROVIDING MARKET SERVICE TO CONSUMERS THEN A COMPETITOR WILL STEP UP! MUH FREE MARKETS!

With Pai at the helm of the FCC they will no doubt bend fo the will of the major telecoms.
I'm still surprised Trump gets such a pass for nominating Pai.
