Bring back the death penalty. Tired of paying for these POS murderers to live the rest of their lives on tax payers' money.

On average, a death penalty sentence costs the taxpayer 3-4x more than a life sentence

Yes—mostly to prosecute, try, sentence, and appeal the case, not to perform the execution.

I think he got 20 years, another 20 years and life no parole.

He was under 18, death penalty not allowed.

Listen to the OP video clip. The sad part is the judge said he understands each of his parents failed him.

Only because the government is retarded. A peice of rope or a bullet is essentially free. Try being less retarded.

He should be hung, ground into a fine powder, and flushed down a toilet.

Has anything happened to his mom? She was complicit in idolizing these school shooters to him. Have you heard their jail house phone calls where they are all excited about all the news coverage he was getting and being compared to his school shooter idols?

16-year-old Colt Gray was just sentenced to life in prison without parole for the 2024 Apalachee High School shooting in Georgia that claimed 4 lives and wounded 9 others.

?The details coming out of court are horrific. Prosecutors revealed Gray spent over a year plotting the attack specifically to become famous in online "true crime" subcultures. He left deliberate "Easter eggs" at the crime scene, like carving numbers into his gun to mimic past shooters, just so the media would talk about it.

?Even in jail, phone recordings caught him asking his mom to look up "fan art" and see what people were saying about him online.

?The judge nailed it: "It wasn't done out of hatred. It was done for the infamy... You're proud of yourself."

?Throwing your entire life away and destroying families for internet clout is sickening. Pure evil.

The cost to execute typically range from $50k-100k.

The statement "bring back the death penalty to save the taxpayers money" is born of ignorance of the costs under the current system.

It's interesting that stating a fact without opinion is roundly downvoted here.
