Trump was never going to win Colorado under any circumstances. Not sure why these numbers are even significant.

Plus, the Democrats in CO have a semi-competitive senate primary that drove turnout. Republicans have no reason to turnout and vote for Trump or Gardner in uncompetitive primary races

Lastly, primary turnout numbers are useless and predictive of absolutely nothing.

It’s true and sad, but it’s still better here than in Louisiana

Fine then explain why the unaffiliated voters are swinging more than 80% Democrat.

Because the unaffiliated voters who lean GOP are staying home for the same exact reasons Republicans did. They have no reason to go vote. Trump and Gardner are not opposed

Colorado has a competitive dem primary for senate

The gop incumbent, Corey Gardner, faces no gop challenger

Yeah, these numbers don't really concern me. I didn't go out since I know Gardner doesn't have a challenger. The elections I'd be interested in voting was the Democratic primaries to make sure a commie isn't the nominee for the Dems, but I'm not a Democrat and don't think I should rig it. I'll be there in November though.

Huh?

That IS the reason

Why would an unaffiliated republican voter be motivated to vote in the primary?

Yes, that was my reason for not voting today. My only interest in voting today would be to rig the Democratic primaries, but I'm not going to play that game. Trust me, a lot of people are thinking the same thing I am over here.

Gardner would be the favorite against Romanoff would he not? Why would you want to face Hickenlooper?

I'll give him a condition in which he can win and certainly has to do: legalize weed. If he does that, and it's Biden (who said last year weed was a gateway drug and should be illegal) and Kamala Harris (who is a fricking narc), then he wins Colorado. He can easily win this state if he does that, especially if Kamala is on the ticket with Biden.

I'm not risking actual communists taking power.

He can’t realistically do that by November 4 though. Legalization is a pipe dream under this administration, even if re-elected.

Hickenlooper might face some backlash for a picture showing him dressed as an Indian squaw.

I guess.... but Hickenlooper is going to beat Gardner pretty soundly though I would imagine with the left turning out big time against Trump. I’d imagine he’ll win by 4-8% and more or less mirror CO’s Presidential result

I smoke weed and want it legalized but I’d prefer states to take it up not the federal government.

It's a tale of two states. Extremely liberal Denver, Boulder, and ski areas. Conservative Colorado Springs and the rural mountain west.

Colorado is filled with hippies and potheads. It's now a Midwest Virginia.

Why is this a concern? Hillary won Colorado by five points. Is this really newsworthy?

Colorado like California is turning into a shithole.
