All the dude (Trump) has said is he’s “hopeful” that this drug will help. He admits he’s not a doctor and hands off the technical questions of clinical trials to the doctor in the room. But he just says he’s hopeful. He’s trying to keep the country optimistic, that’s what leaders are supposed to do.
CNN can’t have their cake and eat it too. Implying the entire country breathlessly waits on Trump’s words to know what to do while at the same time doing everything possible to discredit him.
I keep thinking they can’t sink lower but they just keep doing it.

Even if CNN "journalists" have abandoned all concern for truth, they could at least maintain a modicum of understanding of the English language. Hope, by its very definition, IS unsubstantiated.

I don’t think CNN knows what hope is... there is no such thing unsubstantiated hope. Even a man in prison for life can still hope he gets out. Hope is something you can believe in whether it’s supported by evidence or not.
