REALLY? It has nothing to do with living in shithole 3rd world countries with the now promise of free food, Healthcare, and probably a retirement plan just for traveling north to the US with no opposition once you get here? You don't even need to provide your real name, free to commit as many crimes once you are here with zero consequences, and don't worry- you get to vote 3 or 4 times each election without even knowing it.

Nothing to do with climate change.
Very little to do with living in shithole countries.
Almost everything to do with the state department paying NGOs $34k per adult and $54k per child to be “processed” and these NGOs including church organizations recruiting these people to go through the system to get paid.
Remove the last incentive and MOST of the problem goes away.
