Cleo Fields & Troy Carter: STFU

So, Cleo and Troy are out there urging voters to rush to the polls and cast their vote in an attempt to draw attention to the results of the recent SCOTUS ruling on redistricting. They are really showing energy that none of them has exhibited in recent memory, mostly because they are scared shitless their seats will be taken from them.
We have arrived at a time when race should not be the main factor when mapping out congressional districts. Those days are gone! Time to take Martin Luther King's advice and judge folks by their character and not their skin. I'm sure that real black men and women can agree, King was right! Or was King just a tool for them to use when convenient?

I've been snickering at this. Somehow they think that getting people to vote in an already-cancelled election is going to change either the SCOTUS' view on the issue or pressure Landry to allow the election for an illegal district to proceed.
Neither are happening so watching their impotent antics is amusing me.

Cleo is hilarious.
He gravitates to political office because for some reason, the black community in Baton Rouge has always thought he was the greatest thing since sliced bread, when in reality, he’s too incompetent to hold a real job.

Isn’t Cleo the architect of the non-represented, non-voted on tax district that the arena was going to sit in?

They’re doing tag team CPR on a two day old corpse.
I would be thrilled if black people would stop basing everything in their existence on their race. It’s amazing that they can’t see that doing so only works to their detriment and creates resentment from other races.

IMO the best thing that can happen to the black community is representation that actually serves the entire district and insulates them from some of the retards the democrats saddle them with. It’s ridiculous that hard working everyday black folks continually have their interests and their voices silenced because of the buffoonery of the low iq voter demographic.

So now they will actually have to campaign/take a stand on issues/convince people to vote for them v. just being a, or the only, black candidate in a black district. The horror!

And it is sad but telling that so many are fighting against a chance at better representation.
