I somewhat stole this from Hannity. I wanted to quote these words here i order to highlight the hypocrisy of the left.

Clarence Thomas, brilliant constitutional scholar who happened to be black, was vilified by the left because he dared defy them.

This was about the time the Democrats started to learn these back door manipulation tactics...and then Bill Clinton was elected...ironic, isn't it?

Every AA still on that democratic plantation wearing chains needs to view this.

We need more free thinkers like Thomas.

I went to boarding school with his son, Jamal. Great guy and extremely humble and down to earth. Would never know his dad was on the Supreme Court. We were friends but not close or anything. Clarence came to campus to visit one weekend for an event and walked right in front of me. Didn’t get to meet him though.

So I have that going for me. Which is nice.

Probably one of the finest jurists of the 20th 21st centuries. Despite the fact he was black;, he dared to intellectually wander from the Dem plantation. Subsequently, they tried to destroy him.

I think his almost total abstinence from asking questions from the bench has been his retribution upon those who manufactured the opposition to him upon his nomination. His written opinions are excellent and show a distinct intelligence on the bench, certainly unrivaled but for Scalia. He is a very serious man and a complete individual. I think he’s probably irreplaceable. (I did have the honor once of appearing before these dudes/dudettes. Just sayin’.)

Democrats have been completely unhinged and downright vile when it comes to Supreme Court nominees for the past 40 years.

The fact that the likes of Ted "chappaquidick" Kennedy were allowed to lead the Senate lynching of such a brilliant man sickens me. How any black person can champion the party that attempted to destroy Justice Thomas is beyond me. It's dumbfounding.

This is a singular lesson on how far political discourse and debate has sunk. It's truly disgusting. A low watermark in our History.

ETA Other than being "born a Kennedy", what had Ted Kennedy or any of those Dems on the panel, accomplished that would allow them to sit in judgement of such an accomplished man as Judge Thomas. While I understand the checks and balances of the proceedings, the appalling imbalance of character and accomplishment was on full display during these hearings.

Biden was the real leader of the lynching. Absolutely dishonorable.

Kennedy, Biden??? 2 sides of the same coin. Neither are worthy of holding Clarence Thomas' hat, much less sitting in judgement of him.
