If the GOP wasn't so much in turmoil then they would have a much better chance. A full support of the GOP could have done some serious damage to the Dems.
But they chose to take part in crimes committed with the Dems.
A divisive GOP has zero chance against an insane and united power hungry Dems.

Like Trump or not but his status is much more iconic in the world than Ron.
A casual person who knows nothing of politics knows who Trump is but may not know who DeSantis is.
