Wouldn’t someone stopping the IG be something the IG should investigate?

This is just a distraction. I expect the report to be issued during the Christmas holidays but definitely after December 15th.

I’m pretty sure that FISA authority is up for renewal in congress on December 15th. They need to get past that date so the renewal sails thru. If the OIG report is issued before hand based on FISA abuses then it’s going to be difficult for the swamp to defend the FISA renewal.

yes, that is sad.

Re: Grassley. He is GangOf8, he knows what's up. He is trying to shoot across the bow because he knows something.

Something tells me that the review/classification time is long over; and certain things can't happen until this OIG report is released and Grassley is calling out the stall?

Grassley absolutely knows what time it is. The fact that every patriot with a social media account isn't howling about this at the tops of our lungs the way Grassley is, is a damned shame.

Got to get past December 15th.

That is the REAL reason for the delay.

Okay. So the deadline is then. Couldn't they be doing it now under the radar? If they weren't complete scumbags they would release all then take debate on renewal. It is an elephant in the room they can't dismiss. Even if they passed FISA renewal today, it would have to come back up after FISA report.

I don't get it... because no matter what Graham will protect the FISA court and will make sure he says they will add blah blah amendment to ensure none if it can happen again.

So, who thinks that ordinarily Senator Grassley could not pick up a phone and get the answer he needs?

If he is getting stonewalled, damn.

He's not getting stonedwalled. Grassley is part of the delay.

Grassley: look at my hand over here...they are delaying the OIG report and I'm as mad as you and I'm not going to take it anymore, damn it.

Grassley: don't look at my other hand. Okay guys I think I have the masses content. That should give us enough time until we pass FISA renewal on December 15th."

Grassley is not fighting for you. He is distracting you.

I feel confident one of two things is behind the delay:

1- “they” are trying to clean up and minimize damage and liability, and potentially sweep the really ugly parts under the rug

Or

2- information can’t be shared yet - Need to make sure the release doesn’t impact ongoing criminal investigations.

So - which is it?

Damnit. I expect that from Graham. But Grassley? Is there anyone not in on it. If you go to Allen West's page you can find where he stated that when he was redistricted out by his own party. (Turtle, McCain, Obama, gutting the tea party and sicking the IRS on them) That the Gaetz family (Matt Gaetz's father big Fla. politico in with the Bush's) and the former AG, Pam Bondi were behind it as well.

When did Grassley become a member of the Gang of 8 in intelligence? I know he was not on the immigration Go8.

So if Dec 15th is the get all out deadline, why not work on it now? Get it done? Are there people actually speaking up about it in hearings, I am sure-- but they can't stop it. They didn't the last time they renewed.

Grassley's letters in the past of things not in the public purview -at the time or at all- tell me he has clearance enough- if not the same as gang of 8.

How can it "sail through" with such comments being made in DC?
Could not the opposite be said for FISA renewal?
FISA is dead until the report comes out.

I think since he is chair of Judiciary he has some of the knowledge but not all. Maybe he has hearsay, which we know from yesterday is better than direct knowledge.

Let’s tweet about his tweets until the post bloc forgets about Horowitz.

99% of Americans think he’s a professor at Harvard.
