" Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie told FOX News Wednesday that other candidates for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination should drop out of the race if they don't qualify for the first debate later this month.

"If you haven’t made the stage, I think it’s time to go," he said. "That's the first winnowing process, and I think these objectives were fair ones to reach to be able to make it on the stage." "

Per Special Report: Miami Mayor Suarez says he might drop out if Iowa does not give him the boost he needs.

Please don’t do that again.

I had to downvote that. Sorry, bud.

Imagine parroting Donuts McPhatass and thinking it means something. The guy weighs 500 lbs. He has no dignity or self respect.

You’ve reached a new low, Marcus. Congrats.

Christie is in it to to serve as attack dog on Trump (and probably to get served lots of meals while “campaigning”).

There’s no reality in which even Christie himself honestly believes he would get elected president.

(I’m still going to give him enough credit to at least be that smart).

Doesn't mean he's wrong. If you don't qualify for the first debate you probably don't have a chance in hell anyway.

Well he is wrong and no one cares what you think, Powerbottom. Who’d you vote for again?

Better than hiring an FBI Director because Donuts McPhatass told him to.

Trump in the last 2 elections

Didn't bother in 2012 because I knew it was going to be a blowout

No

I don't take him that seriously. But that doesn't mean that he can't be right about very specific things from time to time. If you can't qualify for the first debate then why bother?

Seems like a simple calculated decision to me. I guess we will see if that’s on what the primary hinges. I’ll be surprised if it is, but I’ve never claimed to be all knowing in such things.

More GOPe tomfoolery. And espoused by the GOPe appointed pitbull

They think every one of those supporters are going to vote for a GOPe stooge, and it will be reflected in polls, thereby weakening Trump
quote:

Trump is the first choice of 53% Republican and Republican-leaning voters in the primary. The survey also finds that Republican-aligned voters are willing to consider other candidates. However, more than 80% either support or say they’re open to considering Trump (84%)

The GOPe are stooopid as hell, and the reason why the DIMs pick them apart once elected. And yet another failed strategy to "Get Trump"

Probably not, but it is a bit arrogant for a guy polling at about 5% to be suggesting the rules. Maybe he should have added the dropping out criteria based on the polls after the first debate. I'd like to see Christie out after the second debate.
