and yet PEW says otherwise. they actually say that american muslims are the most well adjusted and most well assimilated group of muslims in the western world

And here we are in a thread about a Christian Texan white guy supporting them. Maybe those people are just dramatic idiots. Why do we have to even acknowledge that? They will tire of being afraid of literally nothing at some point. What the hell do you want me (us) to do? We can't stop what we are doing every time someone is scared of the monster under their bed.

That might or might not be true. Regardless, people feel that way. That is why this man stood in front of the mosque with his sign.

I gave you pew. You gave me a ridiculous statement that their are as many terrorist Christians as Muslims.

Credibility indeed.

I just knew where Vols and Shaft got his "majority" stat. He didn't make it up unlike another poster here.

Just for the record, I'm not advocating bringing more Muslims to America. I'm only stating that the ones that are here, and are citizens, shouldn't be assumed to be terrorists simply because they are Muslim.

Skinniest fat girl at the weight watchers meeting. Yay.

Pew also says the younger ones are more "radical" in their application of Islam. Yay. Bring more here. Young ones especially.

I just feel like the irrational hatred of Muslims on this board is absurd. I was trying to promote dialogue about it.

I don't hate Muslims. I hate Muslim terrorists and people who think throwing others off a roof cures Toddyness. I mean it kind of does but still.

Well get off the message board and go experience the real world. You seem like the type that would be shocked that this isn't real life and nobody is running around hunting Muslims.

im pretty sure i can say everyone agrees with this. i absolutely support a more rigorous background check of muslims immigrating to this country. however, i do not support that absolute ban on muslim immigration nor do i believe that muslims, by and large, can not assimilate to american culture and that they are going to be the downfall of this country. the vast majority of them are just people

I've been to like 20 countries on 4 continents. I've experienced quite a bit of the world, and I'm only just getting started.

I didn't back it up. I negotiated the number from over half to just one quarter. That's hardly backing it up. You can go back and look if you want.
