Bernie seem to start and lead the movement for a lot of this free stuff. When your voting block votes for your party because of what your going to given them , then why be surprised that the top candidate is giving everything away.

surely you realize there are people out there that believe capitalism has failed them.

Sigh, he still thinks the government meddling in these sectors counts as capitalism. Did you attend the Bernie and AOC economic education camp?

1) Chris Wallace obviously receives the 4 AM talking points.
2) In a world where TRUTH was an absolute requirement Chris Wallace's name would be Deep State Cuck.

No such thing.

All have to do with the govt meddling in affairs they don’t belong in.

Does this mean you’ll return to jr high and learn how to form proper sentences?

Interested to hear what you think that would accomplish. When a college degree becomes the equivalent of a high school diploma and then the high school diploma becomes the equivalent of a GED. How does that move the needle?

Sigh... this board also is struggling to understand the phenomenon as well. This has nothing to do with the MSM, which outwardly loathes Bernie. This is all about the failures of capitalism, the rising costs of healthcare, college, and the disappearance of a middle class. When the richest 3 Americans (Bezos, Gates, and Buffet) have more wealth than the bottom of 50% of Americans you get candidates like Sanders. Either deal with these issues or the next candidate will be far more extreme than Bernie.
I was ALMOST sympathetic toward your post up until 'failure of capitalism' and 'richest 3 Americans' nonsense. You are welcome to make as much money as you'd like in this country. Now your saying we should penalize those who work or invest or grow wealth. That's just jealousy. As for the rising cost of healthcare, college, etc, that's all your big daddy government getting involved, giving out loans and providing insurance (Obamacare) yet the sheep want more government control. Insane.

Do we know if these people know what capitalism really is?
Healthcare is expensive because of medicare/Medicaid and heavy regulation.
College is expensive because the government GUARANTEES money to the universities.
Literally every single sector the Bernie bros and commies whine about and complain about "capitalism failed me" has heavy ties to the government.
Why are big companies so powerful? Idk, lets look at patent law.
Why can't the middle class get to the upper class?
Idk, maybe if middle class people had more money to spend on businesses instead of getting cleaned out for welfare they'd have a shot.
Why cant the lower class break out? Because they're enabled by a system that only incentivizes doing nothing.
The fact that doing nothing and taking welfare is more lucrative than a decent amount of jobs says everything.
Why cant we afford kids? Because we pay a shite ton to people who don't do anything but shite out kids, that are raised horribly.
Every single problem in our society is a government problem
To suggest otherwise is pure retardation. Communism is what you get when the government attempts to solve all problems. No freedom, no hope, but hey everyone is "equal" in the shite they do get.

Like your post implies, we don't have pure capitalism. We have this crony capitalism that takes care of the upper class, and we have this half-assed welfare system that takes care of the lower class. Meanwhile, the middle class is left to fend for themselves.
The Bernie Bros aren't welfare queens. Most of them are college-educated (be it in subjects that aren't useful, but still).
But they look at part of the problem. They give the welfare queens a pass, and they don't understand that we spend so much on them, that it squeezes out everyne else.

In my opinion, the problem isn't so much that the government regulates things, it's that the government regulates the wrong things.

This just shows how out-of-touch the Dems truly are with just about everyone in America. All non-progressive Dems are now Republicans and they refuse to see it.
And Wallace is incorrect in comparing Trump to Bernie as a political phenomenon. Trump ran on immigration, fighting cronyism, ending conflict, and leveraging American exceptionalism. Those aren't radical ideas. Those are ideas that resonate with a majority of Americans. The surprise with Trump was that he ascended by crushing Bushs and Clintons along the way. Which is also why never-Trumpers rose up.

As Rush has said for years THIS IS EXACTLY WHO THEY ARE!
Things we all knew but that were verified as true by the nomination of Donald Trump:
Republicans are actually racist, hyper-nationalist, elitist, corporate-whores
Things that we all knew but that were verified as true by Bernie Sanders taking the lead in the Democratic primary:
Democrats are actually corporate-whore, elitist, hyper-capitalists

My take away from this is not about the politics. It's about the ineptness of the media to realize what middle Americans are thinking and wanting from our government. Trump surprised the media with his following and now Sanders is doing the same thing and the media doesn't get it? Damn, how can they be so blind? Presently we have two factions of opposite politics out there and the media has been surprised to see both sides reveal their heads over the last decade?
The media and the normal politicians (not Bernie or Trump) are so enclosed in their bubble that it's hard for them to imagine that anyone has a thought different from their own. They are the absolute definition of confirmation bias! They don't like it at all when the populace thinks for themselves. The media and politicians all think they are smarter and know better what we need...the very definition of elite! They can't imagine that we actually have brains and think for ourselves!

And they would be wrong. Capitalism doesn't fail you. You simply fail yourself.
Capitalism isn't supposed to pull up the lazy and the weak and promise to make them rich beyond their wildest dreams.
It rewards hard work, innovation, and perserverance.
If you're looking for systems that fail people, try communism, fascism, and socialism. Those systems fail the vast majority of the people that fall under its umbrella. It discourages hard work and innovation. The people who aren't satisfied with the meager handouts from the government usually end up in camps to be "re-educated", held as political prisoners or try to escape to some place with freedom.

Well, that's true for pure capitalism. What he have in the US is a crony capitalism, where government protects certain classes (hello, bailouts).
of course, these people don't understand that.
They might be getting screwed, but they are confused as to who is doing the screwing.

You might believe that, and could very well be correct. However, the public in large will never buy that argument. As the inequality grows, we will move closer to socialism.

You do realize UAW were bailed out don't you ?
Do you not know a lot of people who work on Wall St make 50k to 100k ?
Those millionaires don't answer the phones and dump the waste baskets.
Bailouts were stupid and wrong , no one should have gotten them.
You need to quit defending the dumb fricks who want shite handed to them. They are worthless motherfrickers.
If you claim you are a Conservative , start acting like one instead of making excuses for the dumb fricks.

I think people on both sides of the aisle are tired of the political establishment/cabal and want change. Trumpers/Bernie supporters both agree that DC is a swampy uni party and want it fixed. They just differ drastically on economic policy/social issues.
