Damn! That's a tough course of study. Dad got his PE degree in '54 when Murray Hawkins was still a part of the college. I tried my hand at it but couldn't hack it. Fluid mechanics chewed me up and spat me out. You have my utmost respect.

I can only address political strategy. For any group, having 1 political option vs 2 options means that the group gets taken for granted by their "one." Other than that, I've got nothing

What if I respectfully told you that the dissolution of the black family, and all the social pathologies that have made black life in America so difficult and tragic and senseless were not a mistake, but rather an actual plan by Democrats. See 1964 and Lyndon B Johnson forward. We can just skip over Dems support of slavery, Jim Crow and the Klan. Just Dems social engineering alone, has brought the end of the black family and everything since. But hey, we've been having this discussion since the 80's and it never changes.
Respek though.

I think the DNC strategically places large sums of money to the good pastors in some poor, populated areas....and these are good people, who if given facts would consider other options. but when the good pastor tells them to keep voting D, it is then the lords work.
i work with a good bit of black men and women. good people. really true Christian people. and the are stuck on voting D. when confronted with any issue that would be frowned upon in a Christian light, they usually don't provide any good answers, and the common theme is, we're black, or, we just always vote D.
its the brothers like you that scare the crap out of D's, so soon, you'll be in their crosshairs too.

Republicans don’t give a shite about you either if we are being honest. Our political establishment , at least at the federal level, only cares about big time donors. It’s about green, not black or white. You think they are going to listen to you over Blackrock or Tim Cook? Not in this lifetime.
But yeah, it's probably disadvantageous to any group to support one political party at a 90% clip, since they know they have you by the short hairs.

If it makes you feel better, i talk to plenty of wypipo who dont know a lick about whats going on in the world. Certainly not enough to have any sort of valid opinion about any politician they’re voting for in federal elections. Its not a symptom unique to blacks.

No, it wouldn't.
In stead of arbitrarily voting one way or the other, how about a thorough analysis of the voting history of both parties & their platforms.

Now lets do poor white people and their voting patterns.
Sure, let’s do it. Care to share?
This will be very split on gender, region, college education level (liberal arts majors on west coast, for example)
there is no cohort of white voters that is anywhere as lockstep as African Americans are with one party across age, gender, religion, income level, etc.
you can’t get 90+% of people anywhere to agree on anything, except for African Americans as a whole voting for D candidates

The largest turnout for a Presidential Election by Blacks was for Obama coincident or the R word
Poor blacks have voted Democrat for over 70 years and are still poor
I applaud you for your honesty maybe your kids will not be influenced by Lin Professors
